Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday -- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday -- 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Visitor Center is located just south of the main entrance (Founder's Gate) to campus on U.S. Route 1 (Baltimore Ave.). Directions can be obtained following the link below. Please view the academic calendar before planning your next visit.

In addition to the main visitor center location in Turner Hall, another visitor services desk operates out of the Main Administration building lobby, where we welcome guests of the President, Provost, and Vice-Presidents' offices.

Each year the University of Maryland welcomes more than 35,000 visitors at our Visitor Center, located in Turner Hall. A great place to begin any campus visit, our friendly and informed students are available to give you a warm Maryland welcome. Our Visitor Center staff provide directions, parking information and campus maps. They will assist you in getting to your final campus destination and answer questions you may have about the University of Maryland and our local community.
